Approval to buy vehicles
Permission will be given to buy four vehicles for Excise Mobile Intervention Unit.
The decision was taken in accordance with the report submitted by Excise Commissioner that vehicles having modern facilities are required to chase and nab the culprits who transport liquor and drug through the newly built bridges at Keezhatturkadavu, Paanjikkattkadavu and Perinjaankadavu in Neyyattinkara taluk as well as through the places such as Karod and Kuttappu. It is as part of establishing four mobile petrol units, which would function for 24 hours under the name ‘Kerala Excise Mobile Intervention Unit’.
Sanction of funds
Instructions will be given to the finance department to release Rs. 42.75 crores through additional authorisation, for the smooth running of Punargeham project.
Pay revision
The salary and allowances of the personnel working in government recognised posts at Kerala Lalitha Kala Academy will be revised as per the order dt 10/02/2021, subject to the relevant norms.
Hike in authorised capital
It was decided to hike the authorised capital of Kerala State Backward Classes Development Corporation from Rs. 150 crores to Rs. 200 crores.
Kerala Space Park will be registered as a society under the name K-Space
It was decided by the cabinet to register Kerala Space Park as a Society under the name K-Space. The Society will be registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955.
Approval was given to the draft document regarding the MoA, bylaws and control of the proposed society. Ten posts will be created in the Society on contract basis, as proposed.
From the staff currently employed in IT Parks, Kerala Start Up Mission and Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd, the excess personnel or those who are not required for immediate service in the respective companies, would be selected and considered for employment on contract basis in the Space Park.
From the land owned by the Techno Park, 18.56 acres of land will be allotted to the proposed Space Park Society. Rs. 2 crores will be sanctioned as seed capital to the Kerala Space Park Society to meet the immediate requirement of funds.
