Unified software for primary agricultural credit societies
Unified software will be introduced in primary agriculture credit societies. Tata Consultancy Services was identified as the implementing agency for this. What will be taken forward is the state government initiated project to this effect and not the one designed by the Centre. Such a decision was necessitated in the light of the diverse nature of projects being implemented by the cooperative sector in Kerala the resultant need of constant linkage with the Kerala bank.

Education benefits will be retained
The SEBC (Socially and Educationally Backward Classes) educational benefits available to the Nadar community other than SIUC will be retained.

The ‘Senai Thalavar’ community in Kerala State OBC list is changed to ‘Senaithalaivar/Elavaniar/Elavaniya/Elavania’.

The ‘Parkavakulam’ community in Palakkad district will be included in the OBC list.

‘Dasa’ community will be included in the OBC list.

The community name of ‘Chakkala’ in the state OBC list will be changed to ‘Chakkala/Chakkala Nair’

The community name of ‘Pandithars’ in the state OBC list will be changed to ‘Pandithars/Pandithar’.
