Punargeham: Rs.4 lakh each will be paid
House building benefits will be extended to 355 beneficiaries who are already included in the list of Punargeham project and owns their own land in safe zones, by amending the guidelines. Rs.4 lakhs each will be paid from Rs.2450/- crores for which the administrative sanction is already issued. The guidelines were amended to include the 355 beneficiaries who are there in the survey list of Punargeham, who currently have their own land at least 200 meters limit from the tidal zone and currently staying within 50 meters limit from the tidal zone.
Approval to purchase vehicles
Approval was given to purchase 12 cars for the use of judicial officers in various district judiciary offices. The vehicles are for the use of Moror Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) judges at Punalur, Taliparamba, Kasargod, Manjeri, Kalpetta as well as for Kollam Additional District Judge, judges of Family Court in Alappuzha, Thodupuzha, Tirur and Irinjalakuda.
Approval for conversion of land
Permission for conversion of 30 acres of land at Puzhakal paddy field, Ayyanthole, Thrissur will be given subject to relevant norms. It is done as per the criteria of ‘common cause’ laid in the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland (Amendment) Act, 2018. Ten per cent of the converted land shall be used for water conservation. The construction method to be used in the land shall be environment-friendly. The agriculture and habitats in the surroundings shall not be affected. The conversion shall be done without causing water logging in the surrounding areas. KINFRA shall facilitate the services of experts in environment, scientific and technical disciplines to the district collector.
Waiver in criteria
Approval will be given for the tender invited for the construction of Vayalapuram bridge across Achankovil river connecting Pandalam village in Adoor assembly constituency and Kulanada village in Aranmula constituency by giving relaxation in the government’s criteria.
Whetted
The decision taken to distribute 20% bonus to the workers and employees of Rehabilitation Plantations Ltd, for the year 2022-23, was whetted.
The Government Order, which has brought to computerise the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination, was whetted.
Appointment
Abraham Rens will be appointed as Special Commissioner in the State Goods and Services Tax department by creating an excadre post.
Compassionate appointment
It was decided to give compassionate appointment to Ameen P B, S/o late P.J.Babu, a differently abled person who had been working as an attender in supernumerary post in MACT Ernakulam. The appointment will be in the District Judiciary department as Office Attendant by considering it as a special case on humanitarian grounds.
On lease
17.6 Ares of surplus revenue land in Udumbanchola taluk, Idukki will be given on lease for the construction of 33 KV substation. The land will be given to KSEB at a lease rate of Rs.18,585.6/- per year, subject to relevant norms regarding this.
Reduction in lease rate
It was decided to reduce the lease rate of the land leased to IHRD College of Applied Sciences, which is currently fixed at 5% of the market price for 30 years, into 2% of the market price
