Assembly Session from 4th October 2024 onwards

It was decided to recommend to Governor to convene the 12the session of 15th Assembly of Kerala from 4th October 2024 onwards.

Six Mobile Courts will be converted into Regular Judicial First Class Magistrate Courts

Six Mobile Courts will be converted into Regular Judicial First Class Magistrate Courts. The Mobile Courts in Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulum, Kozhikode and Kannur are the ones, which will get converted. Twenty one new posts will be created. Sixteen posts sanctioned in Criminal Courts will be converted.

Family Budget survey

A Family Budget Survey will be conducted to prepare the consumer price index, towards renewing the wages of employees who come under the purview of Minimum Wages Act 1948.

The survey will be taken up by taking 2023-24 as the base year and by approving the recommendations submitted by the Economics & Statistics department. A state level Consumer Price Index Revision Committee will be formed towards controlling matters related to this. The posts of deputy director-1, research assistant-1 and LD compiler/LD Typist-2, will be prepared for a period of 18 months. The appointment to these posts will be made on rearrangement basis. Twenty two field workers will be appointed at a daily wage rate of Rs.600/- for a period of 18 months.

Homeo dispensary

A homeo dispensary will be opened in Aluva municipality under the Karunya project of National Ayush Mission.

G S Santhosh will be appointed as the Managing Director of Artisans Development Corporation Kerala Limited.

Administrative sanction given

Administrative sanction was awarded to acquire 20 cents of land adjacent to the Cyber Park, Kozhikode for Cyber park.

Whetted

The spoil from dredging of Ashtamudi backwaters’ stretch of National Water Way will be provided at free of cost for constructing National Highway 66. The cabinet has decided to whet the decision taken to give permission for this, by considering public interest. Waiver will also be given in royalty and seigniorage charges.
